Homes of Hope is building a living building in Grand Rapids for a young family that has devoted their lives to helping the community. Brent Fisher, a Factory member, is on the board.

The West Michigan Ruby Users Group is hosting their monthly meetup on Monday, October 7th at The Factory. Adam DeLong, Factory resident, is a co-organizer.

Dave Brondsema, Factory resident, is an organizer of one of largest local tech groups, GRWebDev. They will be hosting their next meetup “Fail! Lessons Learned from Your Oopsies” at The Factory on October 28th.

GRGiveCamp is happening here at The Factory November 8-10. They are still looking for volunteer developers, designers, marketers and anyone interested in technology to help out local area non-profits. Check out grgivecamp.org for more info.
